A Rise to Victory, In Jesus Name!

 

Today is tagged as “Resurrection Sunday”, which bears significance to Christian circles globally. In fact, it is the basis of our faith. It is for this reason as believers who hold firm to the truth that because God so loved the world (humanity), He gave His only begotten Son so that all who believe will not perish but have everlasting life. Yes, it is because of our Lord and Savior’s triumph over death that we were offered a new lease on life and the opportunity to become one with God.  

Furthermore, Jesus’ victory signifies that through Him, we have power over death if we believe. With this being said, as we purpose to abide in Him, we experience the power of His victory in all aspects of our lives. This means that with Jesus’ strength, we can rise above circumstances that the devil designed to rob us of our joy, kill our faith, and destroy God’s destiny for our lives. Yes, Jesus’ victory serves notice on Satan that he is a defeated foe, and his tactics are powerless against us. So, let’s purpose to press forward in faith daily with our spirits lifted, demonstrating to the world around us that victory dwells on the inside of us.
