Be on the Alert: Make Firm your Position in Jesus Christ

In this modern age, there are techno gadgets and apps to help us stay on top of our schedules and goals, otherwise we may oversleep, be late for work, or miss an important meeting or project deadline. Well, we also need to be focused on our faith walk. Preparation is essential. This means we must be intentional about our Bible study and our prayer time. Daily study of God’s word and time in His presence builds our faith, fine tunes our spiritual character and strengths, and readies us for purposeful action. When we take the time to get ready, we can answer God’s call when the time comes, regardless of the assignment. Yes, I said it. He has work for us to do! And speaking of calls, the greatest one of focus is that of salvation, through Jesus Christ. He is the Way, the Truth, and the Life, offering eternal security.  For those who do not have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ, I encourage you to choose Him today. After all, your life depends on it.
